Welcome to A.C.T
A little about myself, my name is Justin Dykes, and I am a Community Support Worker, I specialize in care in the home for clients that are ageing or have a disability. I am passionate about empowering my clients lives through educating and facilitating access to modern technology and equipment that can make their lives a little more Comfortable, Social, Happy or Expressive. From little changes like setting up narration on devices or syncing Bluetooth to specialist devices, to more complex Ai and vision assistance technologies. I hope that as this community grows, I will journey with my Skoolers, in exploring and empowering each of you, whether you are a carer, manage a care business or are a client of care. And hopefully the input, suggestions and feedback from members can also assist each other with common issues relating to technology in aged and disability Care. Hopefully we can remove some of the fear and stigma surrounding some modern tech also. 🤓
