Breaching funded account challenge account in phase 2
Here is a lesson I have learnt the hard way. On Friday I took a buy set up on spx500 and held the trade over the weekend. I had a Stop Loss in place risking 1 percent, On Monday the market opened with a gap, causing the trade to close beyond my intended Stop Loss and resulting in a bigger loss than expected of 3.7 percent . I breached the account due to this -the account had a 4 percent daily loss limit. Honestly I felt frustrated but I take responsibility for that Lesson learned: A Stop Loss doesn’t eliminate weekend gap risk. Protect the account, avoid unnecessary weekend exposure, Back to the drawing board Fixing the trader first. 💪📈

Didn't place any trade today, here my work.
Today, I managed to wake up in time something have been unable for almost 2 weeks. Analysed the usual way but I failed to concentrate. I saw it better not to place any trade. Had around 5 setups. They did pretty well. 3 going straight to TP. 2 moved my way then reversed...though I do use BE. One of the sample.

I just want to take a moment to genuinely appreciate AskSidney for blessing me with a $25,000 Instant Funded Account. I’m truly grateful for the trust and opportunity. 🙏🏽 For me, this account is about much more than having access to $25K. It’s an opportunity to put everything I’ve been learning about discipline, patience, risk management and trading psychology into practice. The goal is not to let the account change me, but to prove that the trader I’ve been working to build can handle it. A fixed trader should be able to manage a bigger account without becoming a different person when the money gets bigger. This account will give me another opportunity to strengthen my mindset, respect risk, wait for my A+ setups, control my emotions and focus on execution rather than chasing profits. 20-Trades Journey- Trade 1/20 🟥
Today, I took a trade on BTC that hit my stop loss. Surprisingly, it felt completely normal because I followed my trading plan and executed my A+ setup exactly as my strategy required. What I’m most proud of is that I didn’t revenge trade. I walked away for a few hours, cleared my mind, and came back to patiently wait for the next setup. It made me realize that I’m becoming different from the person I used to be. I’m more patient, more disciplined, and I no longer let a loss control my emotions or push me into revenge trading. That growth means more to me than the outcome of one trade.
