I’ve got a UK partner working on an RFP, submission is due next Friday. They’ve got a list of questions and if the answers look solid, they’ll proceed further. It’s about SAP systems integration, the guy leading this is Head of Digital at a 10k-member ITO company across the UK/France. Since it’s pretty urgent and really needs SAP expertise, I think a vendor specialized in SAP would be the right fit.
Here are screening questions
- What level of SAP PartnerEdge service does Bidding Entity have?
- Please provide at least two case studies demonstrating your organisation’s delivery of S/4HANA implementations or migrations of similar scale and/or complexity. Each case study should include details of the impact assessment, approach to legacy migration, integration with S/4HANA and adjacent systems, and the business outcomes delivered. The case studies must have been delivered within the last three years.
- Please describe your experience of doing an archiving project for SAP products. What was the approach, the tools used and how the archiving process would work for the customer after the project has been delivered.
- Please provide examples of your organisation’s experience delivering specialist SAP technologies relevant to water. Responses may include (but are not limited to):
SAP BTP (Datasphere, BDC, SAC, Mobile, SSAM, DF, Industry specific apps etc.)
SAP public cloud products (SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, SAC Planning).
- In your answer, describe the approach taken, integration with S/4HANA, and the business outcomes achieved. In addition, please summarise any recent SAP developments relevant to the utilities industry that you are aware of, and your organisation’s experience of delivering them.
- Please describe your experience in the utilities sector and in particular how you balance industry with domain and business expertise. Include any general tools for accelerating progress, including the quantitative value this has driven for your client.
