Pet Portrait WIP
Hey everyone! So, I have been commissioned by a family member to paint a pet portrait of all four of her chihuahuas! and all on an 11x14. She had a few requests with the two that have sadly passed away on top and the other two below them. Their names from top left to bottom right Cali, Sadi, Ladi, and Mini.
I’m going to take a break and look away from it for a day and revisit. I’m noticing the drawing stage is taking a lot longer than it used to. It’s a muscle I have to train back and it will prolly take some time, thus, the break so I can see what I need to fix. Although… I think I already see some things I may need to adjust:
I think I need to adjust the nose and eye width of the Cali (the top left).
What do y’all think? I am debating of moving Sadi (top right) up a little bit as well…
Also, I drew Mini a little bit smaller than the rest as she is the smallest one 😅. Do y’all think that works? It certainly is a challenge to fit these four dogs on here.
Any other ideas or critiques are welcome!!
