Hello & Welcome to the Arizona Holistics Community~
I’m Alicia, a holistic health practitioner and trauma-informed coach with 25 years in private practice. I created this community as a supportive space for people exploring holistic health, nervous system balance, and healing from stress and trauma. This is a place where we learn together, share experiences, and support one another in building stronger, more balanced lives. Share only what feels comfortable for you. Listening and observing is also completely welcome here. Please introduce yourself! You might share: • your first name• where you're joining from • what brought you to this community • what you're hoping to learn or improve How to Get the Most Out of This Community • Introduce yourself in Welcome & Introductions • Join conversations in Community Conversations • Explore topics like Holistic Health, Nervous System Support, and Trauma Recovery • Watch for updates in Community Circles & Announcements That way the main welcome post becomes your orientation guide. I'm so very glad you're here. Alicia If you'd like to start simple, just tell us what brought you here.

Change~
Change is usually good for me but it can be so hard to take that first step. I can be a ruminator and perseverator, especially over the unknowns and the "what-if's". I tend to put an undue amount of pressure on the outcomes and can find myself hesitating. I needed to get the ball of change rolling again and get familiar with how that feels to come out on the other side LOVING the outcome. This weekend, I took a leap and changed up my hair color. This can be very fun or very traumatic. I've been stuck in a rut thinking some pretty harsh things about myself and the pace I am currently moving at. I decided to give myself a boost and take a chance on a new hair color. Something fun. Something unconventional. Something me, but MORE, so i died my hair pink. I Love it. I feel bright, happy and most of all FUN. Working so hard to build and grow right now has kept me in focus and driven, but I was definitely missing something. FUN. Creativity flows better in the space of FUN. Relationships flourish when there is authentic FUN. Children grow and learn when it is playful and FUN. Deep wounds find healing and relief with laughter and FUN. This weekend I kickstarted my energy with a bit of hair fun. What are YOU doing to find a little fun each day and how does it FEEL for you to allow it? #HealingJourney #StressRecovery #WomenSupportingWomen #MindBodyHealing #HolisticHealthCoach #NervousSystemSupport

If you have left the Mormon Cult~
Leaving a high-control religious system changes more than beliefs. It changes the way you see yourself, trust yourself, move through relationships, make decisions, and feel safe in your own life. For many women, leaving Mormonism is only the beginning of reclaiming autonomy, identity, emotional safety, and inner authority. This conversation is deeply personal to me. After years of supporting women through chronic stress, trauma recovery, nervous system overwhelm, and self-reclamation, I’m beginning to speak more openly about the lived realities many of us carried silently for decades. If you’ve left and still feel: • disconnected from yourself • unsure how to trust your own instincts • overwhelmed by freedom and choice • exhausted from survival mode • or afraid to fully become who you are… You are not broken. And you are not alone. Healing is not just leaving. Healing is learning how to safely belong to yourself again. If you’re looking for compassionate, grounded support as you rebuild your life, I’d be honored to walk beside you.
