Do you have a media business or an education business?

What kind of business do you have or would you like to have?

I think there are primarily two types of content-based businesses (maybe 3, if you combine #1 and #2 into a third category of its own).

Media business: Curated content, original reporting or research, entertainment, infotainment
Education business: Based around teaching

And then there's the third kind where you mix both.

I think of The Side Blogger as an education hub... it fits because I sell courses and memberships focused on helping folks master skills.

But I find the idea of owning a media business intriguing, and can't stop thinking about incorporating that into The Side Blogger... somehow.

So yeah, anyway, I'm rambling.

Tell me about your business. Would you say it's primarily a media business, an education business, or a mix?
