WELCOME TO ANKRD IN ⚓
I'm Erika, the founder of ANKRD IN, creator of Framed Verse, and owner of an AI consulting firm. Before this chapter, I had a very successful career in software sales. But behind that success, I was exhausted.
For two years, God had been telling me to leave and fully run my own business. He had given me the tools and resources, but I was afraid to step out on faith and bet on myself.
I stayed longer than I was supposed to, and I learned some things the hard way.
After mistreatment and spiritual warfare across several companies, I was mentally drained. I was successful at work I no longer loved. I was rich in finances but bankrupt in spirit.
Many people are in that place today. We've achieved things, fulfilled expectations, and built lives that look good, yet we know God is calling us higher. Many of us have made the pit stop the palace. We've settled into a place God intended us to pass through, and leaving it feels harder than staying.
Then came an unexpected layoff, and I was crushed. Everything I had worked so hard for was beginning to slip away.
When that door closed, I finally surrendered to God fully and completely. And it was difficult.
He immediately led me into a season of isolation. Familiar voices were telling me I was making a mistake and needed to return to corporate. Hearing that from people I loved was painful, especially after everything I had experienced.
God revealed that I had put more faith in my family's and friends' opinions than in His direction. He had to teach me to trust Him without needing everyone else to agree.
I've come to understand how isolation can lead to elevation. In that quiet season, He began changing what I believed, what I valued, and whose voice I followed.
Over these last two years, I've experienced immense spiritual warfare. I grew up in a conservative Baptist church where it wasn't really discussed. When my life turned upside down, I needed to understand what I was facing and the God I was trusting.
Studying His Word changed my life.
At first, the Bible was difficult for me to process. I started with the SOAP method, but my need to go deeper led me to create Framed Verse. As I studied, I began recognizing God's voice more clearly, understanding His character, and learning to pray with authority. His Word helped me address things in my life that money never could.
When I began sharing scripture readings on Instagram, they went viral. My inbox filled with prayer requests and stories from people navigating their own storms. Some had experienced church hurt. Some were finding their way back to God. So many were carrying their battles alone.
ANKRD IN is an act of obedience.
During a fast, God called me to build this community. I have poured my blood, sweat, tears, and prayers into it because I know how much it matters to have support as you follow Him through the storms of life. Those storms are a constant part of walking this walk, and we need people who will pray with us, stand with us, and help us stay anchored in His Word.
My goal is to get you excited about reading the Bible in a way you understand and can apply. Through prayer and studying Scripture, we develop an intimate relationship with God. We learn His character, recognize His voice, and grow confident in His direction.
I want you so rooted in the Word that you become dangerous to the enemy.
When attacks come, I want you equipped to discern what's happening, pray with authority, and recognize how God can use even opposition to advance His purpose in your life. You begin asking, "God, what are You teaching me? What are You preparing me for? How do You want me to respond?"
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5–6, KJV
This is a safe place to ask questions, share honestly, and go deep. We'll take time to understand Scripture and live what we learn. Through Bible studies, prayer, testimonies, and accountability, we'll support one another as we grow.
I believe God is calling us to develop the gifts He gave us, turn our pain into purpose, and share the stories that strengthen the body of Christ.
