The Reason for the Season ...
As Christmas draws near, may we gently shift our hearts back to the true reason for this season. Not the noise. Not the pressure. Not the perfection. But the miracle.
Jesus.
A newborn King, wrapped in humility, born into a world that desperately needed hope. Light entering the darkness. Love taking on flesh. Peace stepping into chaos.
This season can still hold many emotions for people. Joy for some. Grief for others. Hope mixed with hardship. And that is why the message of His birth matters so deeply. He came for all of it. For the broken. For the weary. For the rejoicing. For the searching.
So as we decorate, gather, give, and celebrate, let us remember who this is really about. Let our kindness be a reflection of Him. Let our generosity point back to Him. Let our conversations be filled with His love.
If you are in a season of abundance, give with a joyful heart. If you are in a season of need, receive knowing God sees you.And in every season, may we all pause to worship the One who came to save.
Scripture for this season:“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given.” Isaiah 9:6
May our hearts stay anchored in the miracle of His birth.May our homes be filled with His peace. And may our lives always point back to Jesus.
