Anchor to God Family… my heart is so full today. We had the privilege of serving over 100 Christmas food boxes in the Frazee community, and it was one of those holy, humbling days that reminds you exactly why we stay anchored to God… especially in this season. As we went home-to-home, praying with families, hugging people, listening to their stories, and hearing their testimonies… God’s presence was unmistakable. You could feel Him in the tears, the gratitude, the quiet strength, and even in the heaviness that some families are carrying right now. Moments like these open our eyes in a powerful way. We’re reminded that while we may live comfortably or feel sheltered in our routines, there are people around us facing real needs, real struggles, and real battles… yet still holding onto hope. And that is the heart of this season. Not the gifts. Not the hustle. Not the to-do lists. But love. Service. Compassion. Christ. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”Mark 10:45 Today was a beautiful reminder that when we serve, we reflect His heart. When we give, we shine His light. And when we slow down enough to see people the way He sees them… everything changes. I’m grateful our church cultivates days like this, and grateful to be part of a community like Anchor to God that chooses to live out the Gospel, not just talk about it. May this season draw us closer to the true meaning of Christmas and keep our hearts anchored firmly to Him. 🤍 Feeling humbled. 🤍 Feeling grateful. 🤍 Feeling renewed in purpose. Love you all.
