Welcome in! I'm Marty. This is where I show how I build real, working things with AI, and how you can build your own. Over the last few months I built a whole network of platforms this way: an ad platform that pays on the blockchain, a link rotator, browser games, video pipelines and the agents that run them. Midweek confession: the busy work used to eat my week
Happy hump day, everyone. Half the week gone, and I caught myself wondering where it all went. You know the drill. The admin, the formatting, the little copy tweaks that take forever. Busy work that keeps us busy without moving the needle. Here's what I keep telling myself on days like this: let the machine take the busy work. Free up that brainpower for the stuff that actually matters. That's exactly why I'm a fan of using AI to carry the load. And here's the part I think we sleep on. AI doesn't just save you time. Give it your own voice, your own way of talking, and it'll help you tackle the hard stuff too. The blank page meets its match. So here's a small experiment for today. Take one thing you've been dreading, and hand the first draft to AI. Paste a few lines of something you already wrote in your own words, and see if it doesn't sound more like you than not. A Simple AI Trick That Saved Me Hours This Week
I've been testing Wispr Flow for the last few weeks now. It's an AI speech-to-text tool that turns your spoken words into text. Instantly. Here's what I noticed... My typing speed is the bottleneck. AI Is the Bicycle for Our Minds
Happy Thursday, Amplify crew 🧠 Came across this Steve Jobs quote today and it hit different: "The computer is the most remarkable tool that we have come up with. It's the equivalent of a bicycle for our minds." Think about that for a second. A bicycle amplifies what your legs can do — lets you go faster, farther, with less effort. That's exactly what AI is doing for our thinking right now. We're living through the moment where that "bicycle" went from something clunky and expensive to something anyone can ride. Tools that write drafts, clean up data, generate images, automate workflows — all of it is just giving us more leverage per brain cell. The question isn't whether AI works anymore. It's whether you're actually using it to go somewhere. So here's my Thursday challenge for you: What's one task you're still doing manually that AI could handle this week?
