Steal These Free Superpowers from skills.sh
Wait, Claude Code just got a massive upgrade. So, we all know Claude Code is already a beast for getting things done in the terminal. But what if you could give it actual "superpowers" without spending a dime or writing complex scripts yourself? Alright, that’s where skills.sh from Vercel comes in. It’s basically a library of modular skills that you can just plug right in. Think of it like installing apps on your phone, but for your AI dev environment. The 5-step workflow to level up Okay, if you want to get this running without a headache, here is the basic flow you should follow: 👉 Browse skills.sh to find a tool that actually fits your workflow. 👉 Download the specific skill file to your machine. 👉 Install it into your Claude Code environment using the terminal. 👉 Verify that Claude actually "sees" and understands the new skill. 👉 Deploy it on your projects and watch it do the heavy lifting. Don't make these rookie mistakes Just to be clear, it’s not always "plug and play" if you aren't paying attention. I've seen a few people trip up on these: ✅ Skipping the requirements: Some skills need specific dependencies installed on your system first. ✅ Installation clutter: Don't just install every skill you see; keep it lean so Claude doesn't get confused. ✅ Permissions: Make sure you're giving the tool the right access, or it'll just sit there and pout. Want the full breakdown? I put together a complete guide over on the blog that walks you through every single click and command. It’s much easier to follow when you can see the exact steps laid out. You can check that out right here: https://amplifyaiworkshop.blog/claude-code-skills-sh/ So, which skill are you guys planning to install first? Or are you still just scratching the surface with the basic Claude Code commands? Let me know below!

@Joe Howard I guess I'm not clear on what you are trying to do. Is this your own product, an affiliate offer? H ve me a little more context around it and I'll try and help
1 Hour Course for setting up n8n
@Marty Bostick I'm going through the 1-Hour Automation Starter Kit course and I have a couple questions. 1. I did not see where you included your affiliate link for n8n. 2. I have gone through the steps to how to set it up using Hostinger. I'm not able to find how to set it up on my own server. Is there a video to show how to set it up on our server? thank you - Michael

Good morning Michael. Regarding your first question, N8N for self hosting is free and there is no affiliate link. My link for Hostinger is an affiliate link. Secondly, I chose to not record a video in that course for doing self hosting on your own server because it has so many variables on which type of implementation you choose. When you mentioned your own server, you would need the ndecide if you want it in a Docker container or on a dedicated operating system or wrapper for it to run in. If your existing server is also used for other things, the Docker route may be best. Let me know your preferred path and I'll try and help.

I just created a quick blog article on self-hosting options to give you some ideas here For me, I use my own Coolify server running on a VPS I've pre-paid for by the quarter which is about $100, which is plenty of horsepower to run as many apps in a SaaS type fashion as I want. If I ever need to scale up on resources, it's a one-click, cheap process. This approach comes with its own administrative overhead however. You are responsible for installing and maintaining updates to your environment (sounds scary but isn't too bad). Everything inside of Coolify runs in Docker containers that play well together. This option is for sysadmins that don't mind getting their hands dirty and keeping the lights on but it is more rewarding in my opinion.
💡 AI TIP OF THE DAY - Split Brain💡
So, it’s Tuesday. We’re officially past the Monday madness, but there’s still a mountain of work to climb. Stop treating your AI like a simple search engine. Alright, if you’re just asking ChatGPT to "write a blog post" or "summarize this video," you’re basically using a Ferrari to drive to the mailbox. Just to be clear, the real magic happens when you use "Persona Stacking." Instead of one role, give it two roles that usually disagree with each other. This forces the AI to find a middle ground that actually sounds like a human wrote it, rather than a dry Wikipedia entry. Here is how you do it: - 🎭 Assign the primary role: "Act as a world-class direct response copywriter." - 🧐 Assign the "Editor" role: "At the same time, act as a cynical customer who hates being sold to and has a short attention span." - 📝 Give the task: "Write a 3-sentence hook for my new AI workshop that satisfies both personalities." The result is usually punchy, honest, and way less "salesy" than the standard AI output. Have you tried giving your AI a split personality yet, or are you still sticking to the basic prompts?
