Just suffering miserably while baking cupcakes with 3 kids under 10 (iykyk)… and my computer goes ca-ching! ca-ching! ca-ching!
Just shipped over $2,000 in products on Amazon and made over $100. Gotta love this passive income 🥰
I don’t say that to gloat. I say it to encourage you to stick with it. I know firsthand how easy it is to get frustrated in the beginning. For the first year and a half, I did this very casually… and made a pretty casual income from it.
It wasn’t until September 2025 that I decided to get serious. I invested in tools. I got organized. I started treating it like a business instead of a hobby.
But here’s the part I think we don’t talk about enough…
You have to respect the season of life you’re in.
If you don’t need to make $5,000 a month from this right now, then don’t build it like you do. That matters. There is a huge difference between building with urgency and building with intention.
If you push yourself like you’re in hustle mode when your reality is toddlers, homeschooling, exhaustion, or just wanting more peace… you’re going to burn out. And when people burn out, they don’t scale- they quit.
It’s far better to move slower and stay consistent than to sprint for 6 weeks and jump ship because you’re fried.
Full transparency- I haven’t uploaded a review since Tuesday 🫣 And that’s okay. That’s the beauty of this business.
It’s more important to honor your energy, your mental load, and your peace than to stress over getting one more review up today.
This was my Mother’s Day gift to myself in 2024. My youngest was just over a year old. I was deep in the trenches of motherhood. Baby brain is absolutely real. If your kids are under 2, you are not operating at full capacity- and that’s not a flaw. That’s biology.
The number one goal here is yes- to build income.
But to build it in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.
Don’t compare yourself to someone posting 40 reviews a week if that doesn’t fit your life. We are all on completely individual paths here. There is no one right way to do this.
You can build this slowly. You can build this quietly. You can build this in two focused hours a week.
I just want you to remember: consistency over chaos.
Boundaries over burnout. Long game over loud game.
Because if you stick with it- in a way that actually works for your life- this can turn into something pretty cool, pretty fast.
