I want to have a really honest moment with you guys for a second.
Lately, Amazon has been… frustrating. And if I’m being real, even I’ve had moments where I’ve questioned things a bit. Not because this doesn’t work- because I have been down this rabbit hole several times- but because it just feels so unpredictable right now, and that can mess with your head, especially if you’re newer.
But behind the scenes, I’ve been deep in the back end of this group, organizing things, working on better practice tutorials and watching interviews with people who are still doing really well with the Amazon Influencer Program (yes- i do watch them all before I post them!) some for years, some for less than a year.
And there’s a pattern I can’t ignore:
👉 Every single one of them has tried multiple side hustles
👉 Every single one of them said Amazon is one of the simplest and most effective
👉 And most importantly they agree- it works if you work it
But here’s the other truth: Amazon is ALWAYS changing.
There have been multiple times over the past few years where people said “it’s dead”… and every single time, the people who stayed consistent are the ones who came out ahead. I myself have pivoted more than once because a) shiny syndrome b)the lack of control c)the unpredictability but every single time I come back to Amazon- not because it's some amazing business model but because it is simple and it works. It fits my busy life style, it works well with my chaos and honestly I think it's really cool my mop earns me triple figures every month.
So if things feel slow or discouraging right now, just know it doesn’t mean this is a waste of time. It just means we’re in one of those seasons where we have to adapt.
And listen—this is important:
It is not wrong to:
• Take a short break
• Shift your focus temporarily
• Learn something additional like Pinterest
• Repurpose your content
• Explore other affiliate
• Dive into UGC
• Pause and focus on learning the extensions and other tools.
In fact, that’s smart. This was never about putting all your eggs in one basket. But don’t confuse “pivoting” with quitting.
Because Amazon isn’t going anywhere. And the people who keep showing up-even imperfectly-are the ones who benefit when things stabilize again.
Even right now, when things are weird, I’ve still made over $800 this month… and most of that came from work I did before. That’s the long game we’re building here.
So if you’re feeling discouraged: Take a breath. Zoom out. Adjust your strategy if you need to.
But don’t walk away from something that does work just because it’s in a rough patch.
We’re playing long-term here. And you’re a lot closer than you think.
So with all of that said, after spending my last couple days really deep diving into Viral Vue I want to highlight something we haven't really done yet (Hello week 10!) but here's a sneak peak.
Order History. Both Viral Vue and Oink have features (they are paid) that allow you to scan your order history and it will show you products you have already purchased with a high earning potential.
Another common theme among people doing really well is product research. I spend more time tagging products than I do filming them every single time and I have become very intentional with my purchases and no longer buy anything that isn't going to earn me $$.
So this week we will be deep diving into both of these topics. If you are not already part of my 40 week Roadmap to 1k reviews- now is as good as any time to join!
