STRATEGIC BREAKS!!
WOOO!!! We are back! We took a little strategic break last week to see how everyone would fair without specific prompts. We do these for a few reasons:
1) We want to see what sticks. What did we do well, what did we not have to think about doing health wise, what has become a habit?
2) We want to see what HASN’T stuck, at least not yet. What did we not do well on without a prompt? What did we let slip? How important to us is that we do some of these small things everyday?
3) Just like you need a break from work sometimes you need a break from the mental part of working out and always grinding those pounds off or worrying about how specifically your food is being tracked. A lot of us are used to falling off the train because, well, we are human, the real question is how quickly can you get back on track.
SO…. with all the being said, what went well last week, what didn’t go so well and what are you doing this week to get back on the train?
For Me: I was pretty conscious of what I was eating/drinking when I was eating out, I tried to get my steps in and be mindful of how my body felt both mentally and physically, as stress was decently high last week.
On the downside, I found that I was chronically under eating which led to energy/mood issues, and the lack of workouts made my body feel a bit anxious.
So this week I am committing to getting in a few strength sessions to help plan out the next block, make sure that I have breakfast prepped. And try to get on my Therapists schedule to talk through some of the stressful things happening in life.
