Basic strokes with Brush pens
In this course, you will learn how to make the thin and thick strokes that are significant for calligraphy and which goes where. We will practice the most basic strokes that eventually will form the different parts of letters.
Material to use in this course: a brush pen of your choice. I use a Tombow Fudenosuke hard in these videos, but any brush pen will do. You can either use plain papers or print out the worksheet attached.

Learn to draw Ribbon style lettering
This is one of my favorite ways to draw letters! In this course, you will use techniques you have learned from previous sessions and apply them on a larger scale. You will draw a word of your choice (or the same as me!) and learn to apply the ribbon effect. In the end, we will apply a drop shadow to make it appear bouncy.
Materials you will use:
pencil and eraser for sketching
paper that is of the quality matching the materials you are using
colored pencils or water color
