Intuition in Action!
On Friday while I was driving for a weekend with my mom, I'm going through these rain storms. And I keep looking back at the semi behind me, going he's going to run into me. So I switch lanes as soon as I safely can. Turns out I'm now in the slower lane, but a bit after the truck passes me, I come up on it again, pulling over, with the car that had been in front of me when I was in front of the truck pulled over. Now there was barely any noticeable damage, but I do not think it was a coincidence that the two were pulled over. My intuition kept me from getting in an accident.
Just like it did over 20 years ago, where I managed to pass a car just in time to see it crash in my rear view mirror.
