Okay Day 20 - shifting perspective Yup, I did that today, I response to showing else on the internet, but very relavent for this. I harbored resentment against my mom's xbf, EW, who was a manipulative piece of work. Because of him, I never got to do any after school activities (not drama, but even once a week art club). And I was pissed that in a time when I was starting to get my social feet back in the water after my parents divorced it was withheld from me. But it's time to let who I might have been go. Because of I was her, would I be me? Would I be where I am now, with an amazing partner and two astounding kids? Probably not. And as I sit here at our cabin in our swing hammock I thank the universe and the powers that be for blessing me.

Day 21 - this should really be when do I Not second guess myself. Okay, okay, so really, I'm always second guessing when I'm trying to do something for myself. It's a lot easier for me to do things for others than it is for me. But I'm learning. (like it took days for me to actually buy those tickets to Fable Con).

I need another monthly in person social meetup, that doesn't require spending money. Now that I'm just about full time working from home, I need to put on effort to go hang out with people who aren't my family. Right now I at least have my second Wednesday to for my fiber friends. I understand how everything has gone virtual these days, and it's awesome that we can meet people from all over the world, but there's nothing like a good in person vibing.

@Mia Zachary how about the fourth Tuesday of the month? Starting in Aug (you can start in July, but I'll be recovering from Alaska). Sunday energy landing sounds cool, but that's my virtual D&D day, so my attendance is highly unlikely. 😊 But if it does fit in my schedule I wouldn't mind checking it out at least once.

Announcement: shiFt Happens
Let me start my saying that Astrology is not my thing. Cool if it's yours, but I've never been interested in pursuing a deeper understanding of something that I didn't believe influences my life. So when a very logical and science-minded friend shared an article entitled, "The Karmic Loop That Opened in 2020 is Closing on June 20, 2026" I clicked through. It was as expected - multiple references to planetary locations and trines and retrogrades and I started skimming from there. But the attached screenshots contain the text that caught my eyes... And confirmed something I've been considering. "THE BEGINNING OF SOMETHING GENUINELY NEW THE TRUER STORY ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE WORTH SOMEONE WHO HAS EARNED THEIR WAY TO THIS THRESHOLD" And after I drank in the message behind these words, I remembered what I say to clients: "Change happens at the speed of decision." Starting on 1 July, this Skool community will become a paid membership model: the $33/month Premium tier will become the Standard tier. HOWEVER any members who joined for free before the end of June 2026 will not be charged. (If you're not sure why I didn't use the term 'grandfathered', today is "Juneteenth" and so a great opportunity to look it up) What this means is that 1. Founding Members will never pay membership fees unless you leave and come back, 2. Anyone you invite to the community in the next 11 days will be considered a Legacy member and never pay, 3. If anyone you refer/invite becomes a paying member, you'll receive a 30 minute session with me as my gift. More changes are coming as I learn more about this platform and how to best use it. 🌹I thank you for seeing me as someone worth spending time with. 🌹

Getting focus
This past week, the students in the Insight Activation class and I chose something to look for. It could be anything, as long as it was uncommonly ordinary: a type of bird, a color of door, etc. I chose the numbers 999, an ordinary number in an uncommon sequence. The point of the experiment is that you get what you focus on. What are you looking for this week?

It's like, when you start riding a motorcycle you start seeing all the bikes on the road. Hm... You know what, I'm going to look for a unicorn, and I'm not counting any of the ones that I have already (yes, I have unicorns every where, I love them).

@Mia Zachary I saw one once, or at least the illusion of one, small, white, perfectly poised in the graveyard behind the Quaker Meeting House. I froze, barely breathing, barely dating to belive. Later and shots from the other children broke the moment. The unicorn became a graceful white dog bounding away back through the fence behind the trees. But for that one moment my fourteen year old self beheld a wonder. And my current self hold that wonder dear and says, sure it was probably a dog, but how do we not know that it wasn't the dog form that was the illusion? 😊
