Life update
Hello again, friends! I know I sort of dropped off the face of the earth in the last few weeks, but I promise I’m still very much excited about all the new things coming. I’ve had some health issues that I am still dealing with, and that is taking priority at the moment. I’ll be back soon!

Tears Are Flowing!!
As we all know, school is starting back this week, and next week as well. Our Facebook feed is filled with adorable pictures of wide eyed kids going back to school. So far from what I can see, the kids are doing great, it’s the mamas that are crying. It is hard on parents when kids start school for the first time, and then years after that because we’re always looking at how much older they look. It is the age old juxtaposition of looking forward to our kids growing older, so they can get out of some of the harder seasons, all while wanting to keep them young as long as we can. Whatever you’re feeling, just like I say about the kids, it is OK and it is valid. Give yourself some grace over the next few weeks. It can be hard on all of us, but before you know it, you will be in a routine, and everybody will be in their groove! You’ve got this!!!!

Here We Go!!
Well, I don’t know about you, but this summer FLEW by!! The kids here in North Dallas start back this week. How are your kiddos doing? Are they excited, or dreading it? School is such a huge part of kid’s lives, so it’s really important that we validate whatever their feelings are. Let’s all take a deep breath, and get ready for early bedtimes, early wake ups, packing lunches, carpool, and all that comes with school! HERE WE GO!

Here We Go!!
Let’s Try This One!
Let’s face it, human beings can be as different as day and night from each other. Some people live for the Sun, and the lack of routine in the summer, because that’s when their family thrives. Other folks, such as myself, live for the fall and winter and are quite miserable in the heat. There are also those that just can’t handle not having strict routine, and it causes a lot of discomfort through the summer. I’d like to know…which one are you?

Silly Question
If money or the health of mom was not a concern, how many kids would you have? There are always factors of age of future mom, finances, and even just the energy level from the parents. Strip all of that away…how many kids would be your dream? For me, I think I always wanted 2….thats what I got!!
