I wanted to share a YouTube video I recorded on a question I get all the time:
“How do I speak in front of others without feeling awkward or losing myself?”
Most people think the answer is:
👉 speak more
👉 prepare more
👉 use better English (for my international professionals)
But that’s not what actually works.
Inside the video, I break it down into 3 simple shifts:
• Read the room first (before you speak)
• Start simple (“Hi, my name is…” + pause)
• Use less words (your presence does more than you think)
This is directly connected to what we train here:
→ not just what to say
→ but how to enter a moment with control
If you’ve ever:
• frozen when attention is on you•
felt pressure to “fill the silence”
• or didn’t know how to start speaking
Then come back here and tell me:
👉 which of the 3 felt hardest for you?
I’ll help you work through it.
