I'm loving the tools in the Mini Course so far - there's a section in Part 2 about what makes for an effective hook in presentations. The hook can make or break a presentation, initially or even the whole thing, for the presenter and the audience. I think we've all been there, on both ends - losing interest at the start of a meeting because the presenter drones on about a random story from their week or a lame joke that's unrelated to the topic being discussed. On the flipside, when presenting; we can lose the audience's attention fast, and our confidence in turn, if our hook isn't effective. Despite our competency and preparation, we're more likely to spiral without a strong, sound hook! There are tons of examples of what a good hook is and isn't in Part 2 of the Mini Course, as well as worksheets that help turn thoughts into tangible action! Excited to keep learning more :)
