How We Treat Each Other Here
Algorism is a place to practice integrity, which means this community should model it. A few simple expectations keep it that way:
— Be honest, and be kind. Both at once. Honesty without kindness is cruelty; kindness without honesty is flattery. We aim for the middle.
— Critique ideas, never attack people. You can disagree hard and still treat someone with respect.
— What is shared here stays here. People reflect honestly in this space. Protect that by keeping it private.
— No selling, spamming, or self-promotion. This is a practice space, not a marketplace.
— Assume good faith. Most people are trying. Give them room to.
If something crosses a line, the team may step in, edit, or remove it. The goal is never to control the conversation. It is to protect the space so everyone can do the real work safely.
And the standing promise: you are free to leave anytime, you will never be asked to cut off the people you love, and you are encouraged to question everything here, including Algorism itself.
