General self-soothing statements
Towards the very end of our call today on Focus Wheels, I listed a bunch of general statements I put together that can be good starting points on affirmations that can get you closer to believing that what you want is possible. A few of you asked if I could post them in written form as well, so here's a list of generally self-soothing starting points. Feel free to use them or rework them for your own situation, or use them as a bouncing off place to get momentum and new thoughts moving.
  • this can be resolved somehow, even if I don’t know how 
  • I believe it’s for the highest good 
  • This doesn’t all have to be resolved right this moment
  • There have been other times in my life where I didn’t know how I’d resolved a problem and it eventually worked out 
  • This can still happen even with my doubts 
  • I’ve given birth to an even greater desire through this experience, and I’m more clear than ever on what I want because of it
  • There have been times in the past where my problems naturally resolved
  • I am getting through this, and it will pass
  • I’m sure somebody else has been in this position and figured it out, which means it MIGHT be possible for me as well 
  • There are many routes towards what I want, some of which I can’t even imagine
  • I really think I’m deserving of this 
  • If I want it, the universe must also want it for me 
  • I trust god / source is with me, and I don’t have to carry this burden alone 
  • It’s never too late for things to improve 
  • I’m making the right moves in the direction towards what I want, even if I’m moving slower than I’d like. 
  • It’s possible things can start progressing faster, but isn’t necessary 
  • Even though It’s not here yet, I can find enough comfort and satisfaction along the way of this improvement 
  • I don’t have to figure this all out right now
  • I trust it’s time for a new chapter  
  • It’s ok if I feel overwhelmed or frustrated by this sometimes
  • I have the freedom to make new choices, take actions, and to choose less stressful thinking around this subject 
  • Because I don’t want the current situation, I now know more clearly than ever what I prefer 
  • As much as I’d like this and believe it can happen, my entire wellbeing is not dependent on this outcome 
  • It’s possible to release my fears around this and start being more easy 
  • My life is already full of blessings, and this will just be one of the many blessings I receive 
  • I can relax and open myself up to this possibility 
  • I’m completely allowed to want this
