Would I sound needy?

Hey everyone, I reached out to an online coach via cold email at the beginning of the week and got a response back yesterday.

She basically said that she would love to work with me but recently had to let go of her copywriter because she doesn't have the money for it in her business right now.

She told me to reach back out to her at the end of March so we could work together. - I definitely will do this.

But I am now wondering if I should email her again and say that I would love to work for her for free and learn about her business and possibly get a testimonial but I don't want to sound needy and possibly ruin the chance I have with her in the future.

Also, if I do this I would have to do it soon while I am still partially in her mind, but again I don't want to sound needy to her.

Looking for some advice
