Part 1: How animals use shaking to relieve their trauma
Animals shake after something scary to get rid of the stress energy their body built up.
During danger their body fills with adrenaline, muscles tense, heart rate spikes. Once the danger is gone, shaking is how they flush that out so they can return to calm.
If they didnโt shake, all that energy would stay stuck and turn into long term tension.
Part 2: How to practically use this
Simply put all trauma is, is unprocessed emotions, or emotion that was not processed enough.
And to heal, we need to bring up the past emotion.
You could do that by:
- Writing a story about it
- Journaling about it
- Thinking about it
- Talking to someone about it
- Etc
Then once you do that, your brain will tell you to do something like for e.g cry or something, just do that for a couple minutes and forever the incident of trauma will be healed.
But of you do not get that, this is were shaking comes in, just while meditating on the past unprocessed emotion, shake for a couple minutes and that will heal your trauma, like how the animal in the YouTube video did it.
