Hello from Northern California
Hi everyone! I’m Bill Takacs, based in Sebastopol, CA (Northern Bay Area). I work in SaaS, specifically compliance training and people analytics.
My #1 burning question around becoming AI-ready is this:
How do we transition our product and software development lifecycle to meaningfully accelerate velocity using AI?
There’s a lot of expectation 30–50%+ gains in delivery speed however the real challenge is how to make that transition across:
- People (roles, skills, expectations)
- Process (planning, discovery, delivery, quality)
- Tools (AI in the stack vs. point solutions)
I’m especially interested in what’s working in practice. Not hype, not theory, and not the “here are some AI tools, now go faster” approach that breaks teams instead of accelerating them.
Looking forward to learning from this group and trading actionable insights.
