⚠️Warning for Thrivecart & Stripe Connect+ users...

Hey all! If you're a Thrivecart user and connect it to Stripe, read this!

Since June 1st, I've been seeing a series of fraudulent charges trying to go through my Stripe - all of which have been automatically stopped and blocked.

EXCEPT THIS MORNING, when one of the charges happened to sneak through.

I talked it through with Stripes AI support and figured out what to do... (refund + block immediately!)

Anyway, I don't know if there's a "hole" in the ThriveCart » Stripe Connect + integration, but watch for bots and weird charges...

Inside Thrivecart under:

Account >> Settings >> Integrations, you'll see two stripe options: one is for the connect+ and the other is the regular "enhanced" or "legacy". You can see which Stripe type you have connected. I didn't even realize that I had turned on the new Connect+. But since I don't need it, I disconnected!

Disclaimer: I don't think that this is necessarily the fault of Thrivecart or Stripe. It's just something to be aware of.
