šŸŽ„ New Video Breakdown: Facebook’s Content Monetization ā€œLand Grabā€ + Our 20-Page Experiment (AI + Automation)
If you’ve been trying to make money online as a creator, you already know the old model:
  • Brand deals
  • Sponsorships
  • Driving traffic off-platform
  • Building on someone else’s ecosystem
Facebook has flipped that model.
Right now, Facebook is directly paying creators for everyday content — not just long-form videos, but also:
āœ… Reels
āœ… Photos / image posts
āœ… Text posts
āœ… Stories
āœ… ā€œNormalā€ daily content… as long as it performs + gets engagement
This post is a breakdown of the video and what we’re doing behind the scenes.
1) Why Facebook Is Suddenly Interesting Again
There are two big reasons we’re taking Facebook seriously now:
a) The monetization program has changed
Facebook recently moved towards a more unified Content Monetization program.
That matters because historically, monetization was confusing and fragmented. Now it’s clearer, simpler, and more accessible (still in beta, but moving fast).
b) Facebook is under pressure
Facebook is competing hard with:
  • YouTube
  • TikTok
  • Instagram
So what do they do to win creators back?
They pay creators well to publish content on Facebook.
This creates a window where the people who move early can capture an outsized share of reach and payouts before everything gets saturated.
2) The Core Idea: Engagement > Views
This is important:
Facebook is not rewarding ā€œcheap views.ā€
It’s rewarding engagement.
So if your content doesn’t get reactions, comments, shares, saves, etc… you’re not going to win long-term.
This is not about spamming low-effort posts.
If you try to cut corners:
  • Your reach will get suppressed
  • Monetization will be harder
  • You’ll hit policy issues later
  • And you’ll lose momentum when stricter rules come in
We’re building this like long-term digital assets, not quick hacks.
3) Our Experiment: 20 Pages, 20 Niches, Real Data
Instead of building one page and guessing…
We built 20 pages across a broad spread of niches, for one reason:
šŸ“Œ Data.
We want to know:
  • Which niches grow fastest
  • Which niches attract Tier 1 audiences
  • Which content types drive engagement in each niche
  • Which pages are likely to monetize best
  • And what it really takes to build these assets at scale
This is a repeatable system problem — not a ā€œone page got luckyā€ story.
4) Early Results (First ~6 Weeks)
Here’s what we’ve seen so far from the first 20 pages:
āœ… Oldest page started around 10th November
āœ… We created the full batch over roughly a month
āœ… Combined followers: ~205,000
āœ… Combined interactions: ~290,000
āœ… Publishing volume: about 345 posts per day across the network
Content mix so far:
  • Mostly image posts (fastest to build + easiest to automate early)
  • We’ve started adding reels since mid-month
  • More formats coming next as we test engagement per niche
5) Tier 1 Countries Matter (A Lot)
Most of our audience has come from:
šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø US
šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ UK
šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ Canada
šŸ‡¦šŸ‡ŗ Australia
šŸ‡³šŸ‡æ New Zealand
That’s intentional.
Tier 1 audiences are typically worth more because Facebook can monetize them more effectively with ads, which usually correlates with higher payouts.
6) Why We Used Ads (Seeding Followers)
Starting a Facebook page from zero is possible organically…
…but it’s slow.
And this opportunity is time-sensitive.
So we chose to seed each page with followers via ads to get momentum early.
Our initial aim was 10,000 followers per page, but results vary by niche.
What we’re seeing:
  • Average cost per follower/like around Ā£0.02–£0.04
  • Some niches are cheaper
  • Some niches are more expensive
  • Boosting individual posts was not as efficient as running standard page-like/follower campaigns
This isn’t about ā€œbuying success.ā€It’s about removing the cold-start problem so the content has a better chance to travel.
7) Monetization Timeline (What We Expect)
We’re not monetized yet (and we didn’t expect to be).
Realistically:
  • We’re about 6 weeks in
  • We expect monetization to take closer to ~90 days
  • Facebook also states you won’t be monetized for at least 30 days
So the plan is simple:
āœ… Keep building engagement
āœ… Improve content quality and formats
āœ… Expand content types (reels, etc.)
āœ… Continue testing what performs per niche
8) The Bigger Play: Multiple Monetization Layers
Facebook monetization is only one layer.
Once you build an audience, you can stack:
  1. Website ads (send traffic to a site, get paid again)
  2. Affiliate offers (Amazon + niche-specific partners)
  3. Digital products (templates, ebooks, downloads)
  4. Physical products (dropshipping, print-on-demand, etc.)
  5. Services (if the niche supports it)
That’s the real point: Build the audience once. Monetize it multiple ways.
9) Scaling Beyond Facebook (Without Copy-Pasting)
Once we have automations that generate content reliably…
We can produce similar content frameworks for:
  • YouTube
  • TikTok
  • Instagram
But this is critical:
āš ļø Do NOT repost identical content everywhere, especially on Facebook.Facebook checks for uniqueness and will suppress low-value or duplicated content.
The goal is:
  • Same system
  • Same ā€œcontent engineā€
  • Different outputs per platform
10) What’s Next
Here’s what we’re doing next:
āœ… Add reels across all pages
āœ… Test additional formats (depending on niche)
āœ… Identify winning niches and double down
āœ… Review/optimize our automations
āœ… Launch more pages based on insights
šŸŽÆ Long-term goal: hundreds of pages once the ā€œrecipeā€ is proven
šŸ’¬ Your Turn
If you were starting today:
What niche would you choose for a Facebook page — and why?
Drop it in the comments and I’ll tell you whether I think it’s:
  • easy/hard to grow
  • likely to attract Tier 1 audiences
  • and strong/weak for long-term monetization stacking
