Calling All Published Authors — How Did You Do It?

I know several people in this community have published books, and I would love to learn from your experience.

I’m at the finish line with my book, 13 Truths Before You Walk Into a Room, and I’m now working through the final publishing and release decisions.

If you’ve published a book, would you share a little about your process?

Did you self-publish, use a publishing company, or take another route?
Which platforms or companies did you use?
Did you release the digital edition, paperback, or both?
Did you purchase your own ISBN or use one supplied by the platform?
Where did you sell your book—Amazon, your website, a direct-sales platform, bookstores, or somewhere else?
Looking back, what would you do differently?

I’m especially interested in the actual steps you followed and which services you would—or would not—recommend.
