Consistency Tips in Veo3
Hi guys, I'm working on a pilot episode of an animation I started long time ago, before there even was any good video/ image generative AI tool like the ones we have now. I drew every picture and originally the animation would be more like simple slides with very simple animation, like a very modest motion comic - The best I could do then. Now that we have tools suchs as Veo, that not only animated but gives sound to the clip, I decided to rescue this ideia and I've been working on this since then, taking every scene drew and animating then.
But I'm running into an issue: I have a very particular aesthetic, specially in the way I draw eyes (only two little stick-shaped dots). I want the AI to keep my art very consistent but it always messes up with the character's faces. Bellow there's an example:
1) My static art and two animations 2) One output that did the movement I wanted but completely messed up the face 3) One that kept the face consistent but animated the character in a way I dind't wanted with too much moving, and their prompts:
2) Animated scene. Style: pop art, retro, comic art, motion comic. Medium close-up of Carmen’s face, lit by intense cyan-blue shadow and glow, halftone texture intact. Camera: eye-level, 50mm lens. Camera movement: slow push-in toward her face. Expression only: eyebrows furrowed, jaw clenched, teeth slightly gritted, eyes narrowed in anger. No dialogue, no speech, no lip movement — only facial expression. Important: lock character model sheet — keep Carmen’s face, hairstyle, and proportions identical to reference. Eyes must remain exactly as drawn: simple stylized line for pupils, no white of the eye, no redesign, no morphing. Preserve original illustration style. Duration: 8 seconds, 24fps.
3) Animated scene. Style: pop art, retro, comic art, motion comic. Medium close-up of Carmen’s face, lit by blue glow and shadow, halftone texture preserved. Camera: eye-level, 50mm lens. Camera movement: slow push-in toward her face. Expression only: she raises her eyebrows and slightly parts her lips, giving a look of surprise and doubt. No dialogue, no speech, no talking — only facial expression. Lighting: moody cyan-blue highlight against deep shadows. Atmosphere: quiet, tense, introspective. Important: lock character model sheet — maintain exact facial features, hairstyle, and proportions as reference image, no morphing, no redesign, no drift. 8 seconds, 24fps.
Also, tips on jailbreak prompts? My series contains some adult stuff, nothing explict, but every AI always censor it to much. This one episode for example happens in a Cabaret (it's a 'Sin City' like story).
