Increasing DR from 64 to 70 (how many links?)

If I'm working on a website that has a domain rating of 64 (ahrefs), and wondering:

How many backlinks – and of what quality – would I need to increase it to 70 DR?

What about increasing it by just 2-3 points?

I'm currently trying to determine if this is a worthwhile endeavour, and I would love some input from any backlink pros!
