AI Basics, May 2026
If you're a developer who's been watching from the sidelines, waiting for things to "settle down" or for the hype cycle to fade, I have bad news: they settled. It's not fading. The reason is simple: money. Time is money, and people are saving a lot of it using AI. They're also saving time. They're moving faster, shipping faster, and businesses are not waiting. You don't need to take my word for it - just have a search. Or maybe when your family or non-techie friends ask you which model works the best with OpenClaw (yep, happened to me)... that's when it will hit you.

Welcome!
I'm trying something new for me - a community site. I find that interacting with others and learning openly is the best way to dig in to AI and stay afloat. It's so easy to feel like you're getting left behind. So that's why I kicked up this group. If you're new here, say hello! What's your favorite tool of choice? What's the *worst* thing that your AI tool has done to you? It's OK - it's probably happened to all of us... unless you're the Pocket guy...

Hey Rob Conery, The AI Pro 🚀
Hey Rob Conery 👋 Just checked out The AI Pro. You're still early enough to structure the community properly before growth starts kicking in — which honestly is the best possible timing. We're currently helping new Skool owners turn empty/basic communities into launch-ready ecosystems completely free. Examples + full breakdown here: 👉 Community Launch Before vs after examples below 👇

AI generated code doesn't have to suck. In fact, it should be far better than anything we can write as humans. Let's explore how to get there.
