If youāve ever felt like youāre on your tenth (or twentieth) attempt at launching a successful side hustle online, let me reassure you: itās totally normal. Iāve tried over a dozen myself (that I'm actually counting) āeverything from handmade baby bows to kawaii plushies to writing something...š«¢.
Some were fun, some flopped big-time, and a few Iām still embarrassed to admit I tried. But hereās what I learned: every single one gave me new skills and insights, even if it never turned into something permanent.
The biggest lesson from all these āfailuresā? Itās perfectly okay to keep trying until something finally sticks. For me, that āaha!ā moment arrived when I started selling digital downloads. It turned out to be the perfect balance between something I enjoyed (designing) and something people actually wanted to buy. Suddenly, all those lessons from failed businessesālike understanding my ideal customer and testing different ideas quicklyāfell into place.
So, if youāre spinning your wheels and feeling like youāve run out of side-hustle options, take heart. Sometimes, itās hustle #12 (or #22!) that changes everything. The key is sticking with it long enough to see what actually clicks.
So, dust off your latest idea, give it another shot, or try something entirely newābecause you never know which venture will be your big breakthrough. All your past experiences are quietly setting you up for success.
