Music Video
Hey folks. I've been working on this video and I sandwiched pieces of two together to make a decent video but I am looking for feedback.
This song is a battle within one's own identity. I'm not sure which part to use for which. Any suggestions welcome. Also, syncing words to lip movement is a challenge!!
Below is the lyrics to the song. Is there a way I can make the voice a little bit more different between the two so it is more distinguishable?
[Verse 1 — Voice 1 (Doubt)]
I don’t think I know myself
Not beyond the roles I play
Everybody says they see me
But I feel farther every day
I learned how to sound convincing
Learned which mask to wear and when
But the silence gets so heavy
When I’m alone with who I am
[Verse 2 — Voice 2 (Hope)]
I think you’ve been too busy hiding
To recognize your own reflection
You keep searching for a person
Like truth arrives in one direction
Maybe you’re not meant to have it
All completely figured out
Maybe honesty begins the moment
You finally speak the doubt
[Chorus]
Who am I when no one’s looking?
When the music fades away?
When I strip down every version
Everybody told me to be?
Am I made of all my failures?
Or the parts that still survive?
How do I become myself
When I don’t know who’s inside?
[Verse 3 — Voice 1]
What if all the things I’ve written
Only came from borrowed light?
What if I’m just good at echoing
What people need some nights?
[Voice 2]
But they felt it
Because you meant it
Pain can recognize its own
[Voice 1]
I’m scared there’s nothing underneath me
[Voice 2]
Then why do these wounds run so deep?
[Voice 1]
I’m scared I built my life on shadows
[Voice 2]
Shadows only exist where light can reach
[Final Chorus]
Who are we beneath the breaking?
Beneath the doubt and all the noise?
Maybe being truly human
Means living without a final choice
And maybe all this fear inside me
Isn’t proof that I’m a lie
Maybe it’s the sound of someone
Trying to finally come alive
[Voice 1]
If I find myself someday…
[Voice 2]
You were never truly gone.
Style Prompt:
Start with isolated piano and room noise/breathing, Keep the first vocal intimate and almost fragile, Add subtle strings (violin) or ambient pads only near the end, Avoid overproduction — the imperfections should stay, If using AI vocals or duet generation, slightly contrast the voices: voice 1 is tender, voice 2 is firmer, one warmer and grounded, one airy or haunting
