Day 1 — Struggles & Wins
5 Struggles
- Finances: Struggling financially has added a lot of stress to my life. I often catch myself comparing my situation to others around my age or even the same age who are doing much better. It makes me feel like I'm falling short, and I start to lose respect for myself because I’m not where I thought I’d be. Deep down, though, I know I’m the only one responsible for not progressing further financially.
- Anxiety: I struggle with anxiety, and it’s a daily battle that I face within myself. Unfortunately, it often holds me back from pursuing the things I truly want to do in life. It feels like my mind is always in overdrive, constantly telling me that I’m not good enough.
- Laziness/burnout: I often struggle with laziness, and it’s something I can’t seem to shake. It holds me back from reaching my full potential and keeps me from taking action on the things that matter most. The longer I let it control me, the more I feel like I'm wasting my time, which only deepens my frustration. My early mornings at work drain me, and without a solid sleep routine, I often feel too exhausted to do much else. I just wish I had the energy to come home and still feel motivated to tackle the rest of my day.
- Grief: My dad passed away nearly five years ago, when I was just 21, and it’s been an incredibly difficult journey ever since. Losing him has been one of my biggest struggles. He was my biggest supporter and always encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone. Life without him has been a constant challenge, and navigating through it has felt like an overwhelming task.
- Insecurities: I’m often my biggest critic, constantly worrying about whether I’m doing something wrong or what others might be thinking of me. My insecurities tend to take over, and I let them control how I feel and act, even when I know I shouldn’t.

5 Contrasting Wins:
- Finances: Struggling with finances has pushed me to become more disciplined and hold myself accountable, knowing that I’m capable of doing better and becoming better. It’s led me to this point, motivating me to break free from a phase of life that hasn’t fulfilled me. And honestly, I see that as a victory in itself.
- Anxiety: Anxiety isn’t permanent, and it doesn’t have to control me. I’ve begun reclaiming my life, and part of that journey has been starting a new supplement I heard about that helps with anxiety called Ashwagandha. I’ve already noticed positive changes, and it’s been a step toward feeling better and having more in control of my life.
- Laziness/burnout: I’ve finally identified the root of my laziness and it's tied to my dissatisfaction with my work and sleep schedules. But I’m ready to make a positive change. It’s time to break free from old habits, rediscover the things that bring me joy, and establish a healthier sleep routine to better care for my mental health.
- Grief: Experiencing such a big loss at a young age has made me stronger. I know my dad is still supporting me, just in a different way now. It’s also taught me how to support others who are grieving, and that gives me a sense of purpose knowing I can be there for someone else in their time of need.
- Insecurities: I’ve always been my biggest critic, but now is the time to silence the negative voices and transform them into ones that push me toward greatness in this life since we only get one shot!!!
