I’d love some honest feedback from people building in the AI space right now.
Something has been on my mind.
A lot of people say they want to monetize with AI and build digital businesses. But at the same time, they expect everything to be free. Upset because Sora ended, Grok is charging, etc.
That logic has always confused me a little.
You want to build a business and make money… but you want the tools, systems, and knowledge from someone else’s business for free so you can grow yours?
Meanwhile, the people who actually try to operate with integrity get stuck in the middle. On one side, folks expecting everything free. On the other side, people charging crazy prices for basic information.
So those of us trying to teach real skills and price things fairly end up fighting an uphill battle.
Curious how others here handle this.
How do you stick to your value when the internet swings between
“everything should be free” and
“pay $2,000 for someone to tell you how to open chatGPT”?
