I Almost Missed a $1,000 Grant Today…but I didn't! I won it!

Creators! Y'all will not believe this!!

At exactly 12:00 PM today, I was in the middle of training a client on how to manage the interactive AI avatar I built for their business. Total focus mode. The only catch? I had also signed up for the Hello Skip $1,000 grant drawing that just happened to be at the exact same time.

I figured, “They probably won’t call my company anyway,” so I didn’t reschedule the client. But I kept the drawing muted on a second screen—just in case.

Cue apologizing to the client while scrambling to find the claim button. My hands were literally shaking. But I clicked it with seconds to spare.

And just like that—I won a $1,000 business grant. There were 4 entries pulled before mine who were no shows so they missed out! Plus, they sent me the link to be live on the YouTube Live so I got a chance to promote AI Integrated to 2k people who were live and in attendance. I was able to talk about my work with SheIsAI and my current interactive avatars for the medical community that I'm building!
