Creator Tuesday Update!
Hey Creators,
What a month it's been. My new AI role is kicking tail and taking names. So busy and I'm just getting started planning out all these AI training sessions.
On the personal AI note, I think I finally came up with a viable project for the Tubi Screenplay contest. I literally spent almost 2 months brainstorming with AI for ideas. I dunno but sometimes this AI isn't all that creative!
So, I liked The Bettering but I thought it leaned more towards Sci-fi than horror and a horror script is required for this contest. So, since the AI didn't come up with any good, unique take horror movie concepts I decided to use this creepy situation that happened to me IRL on a weekend getaway to Mt. Shasta.
LSS...TLDR
The minute I arrived at Mt. Shasta the necklace I was wearing that had a genuine angel stone embedded in it crumbled in my hand! Literally CRUMBLED to dust! I was like...now that's weird! How can a natural stone crumble like that all of a sudden. I guess the energy at Mt. Shasta was just too much for it. Or perhaps the stone took a hit instead of me...if you believe in that. Regardless, my $200 stone crumbled. I was ticked!
2nd incident...not creepy but just plain stupid. I ended up in a bat cave...a literal bat cave with 100s of bats...the ones with teeth! Don't ask...TL/DR but LSS I boyfriend at the time said while we were hiking looking for a fairy waterfall...I can't make this ish up...true story...looking for the fairyfalls he said, oh look there's a cave...let's go take a look inside! I was like Black people don't just go frolicking around in strange caves! Like why? But I allowed him to talk me into it. Inside the cave we are talking, there's an echo so we're talking loud. It's pitch black. Trying to take pics in the pitch blackness and then I was like, what's that smell? I'm very sensitive to smells especially bad ones. Anyhoo, I looked up and was like, what's that? I shine my camera bright ass flashlight up to the ceiling and there were 100s of freakin bats! OMG We ran out that cave so fast. I could have been attacked by 100s of bats listening to that fool. THIS is why Black people don't go adventure hunting...like why? That's how you end up dead, kidnapped, eaten or biten by ravaged bats!
So, I tell this true story to Skye, my AI Sidekick, and say what could have gone wrong if it wasn't bats that we encountered but something else? Because I really didn't want to write a bat cave movie. I think that's been done too many times even if it is for Tubi!
SO FINALLY I think I have an interesting, high concept horror idea and yes it involves a cave in Mt. Shasta but au contraire mon frere, you encounter something so much more sinester than bats. Horror is not my normal genre to write. I prefer a psychological thriller so I have turned what I'm calling, When the Earth Breaths, a psychologicial horror that makes you think especially about entering strange caves!
I think I will add the crumbling angel stone as a foreboding motif just to put my personal stamp on it.
If I win a Tubi production deal...you heard it here first.
Let's gooooo win this!!!!
