AI is taking the blame for human error!
So, today “they” used AI to do something and we are finding some errors. To me it looks like scrambled data! The blame was put on AI. AI is not perfect, they said. Truuuueeee! BUT, I think maybe the humans didn’t prompt it right to begin with! Now, I’m on the team to figure out what went wrong. How did I get here?!?! So first thing I want to ask for is to see THE PROMPT!
I’m guessing WHOEVER created the prompt probably did not write the best one and that’s why we are seeing what we are seeing! It’s so easy to blame the AI but if you don’t explain exactly what you need it to do and not do then test it thoroughly with a small dataset BEFORE applying it to a mass amount of data then you can’t blame the AI for getting it wrong.
Then they said it’s 30k lines we can’t possibly look at each one! Duh! That’s why we have AI! That right there told me they whoever “they” are don’t know how to use the AI properly!
Next week I’m about to crush some toes. I want to see THE PROMPT! I have no idea who wrote it but this is a perfect example of people getting these bogus certifications and claiming to be Ai Consultants and Experts and don’t know what the fuck they are doing.
Not saying that’s what happened but I’m pretty sure it’s a high probability! And because anyone and their grandpa can setup a website and charge $5k+ to hand out “certifications” to totally unqualified people just trying to ride the AI fortune train makes it difficult for the real Ai experts to shine through due to all the clutter of fakes who keep popping up. People who have never done any type of business consulting or worked with systems or software can now claim to be an AI expert? We need some regulations and an oversight board on who can claim to be an Ai expert or CAIO before this gets way way way out of control! But don’t get me started.
This is soooo out of scope. That’s why we are having a scope re-evaluation and fee adjustment!
AI is not perfect BUT garbage in = garbage out and you can’t blame the AI for that. I’m soooo Team AI!
