Start Here: Choose Your First Useful AI Workflow
Welcome to AI Business Bootcamp. Our focus is simple: use AI workflows and agents to solve real business problems, then understand what would make the result worth paying for. YOUR FIRST STEP TAKES 10 MINUTES Choose one recurring task for one type of business. Make it small enough that you can inspect the result yourself. Examples: • A competitor brief for a local service business, with links to the public sources. • A weekly summary from a sample spreadsheet, with the numbers checked against the original data. • A first draft of an FAQ from a business's public website, with unsupported answers marked for review. Then comment below using this format: My starting point: Beginner / already experimenting / already doing client work Who I want to help: The recurring task: The deliverable I want to build: How I will check it is useful and accurate: My first question: The team publishes the main feed. Members participate in the comments here and in Questions & Troubleshooting. Keep links and sales pitches out of your introduction. AFTER YOUR FIRST TEST Share what you built, one thing that worked, one thing that failed, and the specific feedback you want. Use public or sample data while learning. Before treating your workflow as a service, check its accuracy, repeatability, tool costs, and the amount of human review it needs. Read the community rules before posting. This is a self-directed community: public questions help everyone, but an individual reply is not guaranteed. Updated September 2026. Earlier comments have been kept so useful conversations and unanswered questions are not lost.

Questions & Troubleshooting: Ask Here
Working on an AI workflow or agent and stuck on a specific step? Ask in the comments below. The team publishes the main feed. Members ask questions and share solutions in the comments here. COPY THIS TEMPLATE Goal: What business task are you trying to complete? Tool and setup: Which tool are you using? Include the version if relevant. What I tried: The relevant steps or a short prompt excerpt. What happened: The result or exact error message. What I expected: What should have happened instead? My question: The one thing you need help understanding or fixing. Add a screenshot or short sample if it helps. Remove names, contact details, confidential information, API keys, and other secrets first. If you find the solution, reply to your original comment with what fixed it. If you answer someone, explain the steps here so others can learn. Do not turn help into an unsolicited sales pitch or require a DM to get the answer. This is a self-directed community. Specific questions make it easier for members to help; an individual reply is not guaranteed.

Community Rules: Read Before Posting
Welcome to AI Business Bootcamp. Keep this community useful for people building practical AI workflows and agents. 1. NO PITCHES OR LEAD COLLECTION No service ads, affiliate or referral links, recruiting, or invitations to your group, channel, newsletter, or funnel. No “DM me,” keyword-comment offers, or contact-detail collection. Share useful information in the community. 2. ASK BEFORE SENDING A DM Get clear permission in the relevant public conversation before starting a private conversation. Joining the group, liking a post, or replying to you is not permission to pitch. Never send unsolicited offers or move a conversation to WhatsApp or Telegram to sell. 3. SHOW THE WORK AND THE CONTEXT Your own AI experiments are welcome in the comments. Explain the problem, tools, process, result, and feedback you want. A directly relevant link to the work is fine when your comment stands on its own. Bare links, teasers, and disguised ads will be removed. 4. KEEP QUESTIONS SPECIFIC Describe your goal, what you tried, what happened, and the exact point where you are stuck. Keep discussions about practical AI work and earning through useful services or products. Put introductions in the pinned Start Here thread. 5. NO DUPLICATES OR ENGAGEMENT SPAM Do not copy the same post or reply across conversations, farm likes, or flood the feed with generic AI-written text. AI assistance is welcome when you check the output and add something useful. Search before posting the same question again. 6. BE HONEST AND PROTECT PRIVACY Do not fabricate results, testimonials, clients, or earnings. Label demos and hypothetical examples. Remove private client information, contact details, passwords, and API keys before sharing. Use content you have permission to share. 7. RESPECT PEOPLE AND REPORT PROBLEMS Critique the work, not the person. No harassment or discrimination. Use the post or comment menu to report spam to admins. Obvious spam, scams, repeated promotion, and unsolicited sales DMs can lead to removal and a ban without warning.
Hi from Charlotte NC!
Hey everyone, I'm Alan Magliocca from Charlotte, North Carolina. Right now, my life is a mix of building software companies, creating AI-powered products, growing communities, and helping entrepreneurs leverage AI to scale faster. I've spent 17 years in online business, so I'm well past the 9-5 stage, but I definitely remember what it was like trying to figure it all out in the beginning. My biggest frustration with making money online was always seeing people chase tactics instead of building real systems. Too many entrepreneurs jump from opportunity to opportunity without creating assets that can generate leads, sales, and authority consistently. For me, $5,000/month was a major milestone because it represented freedom. It meant not having to worry about every bill, having more control over my time, and proving that a business could work without relying on a traditional job. Once I hit that level, it completely changed how I thought about what's possible. Looking forward to connecting with everyone here!
