Last Friday Workshop - Claude Skills Mastery
Ran our 3rd live workshop in a row on Friday. This one was about skills - the feature inside Claude Code that most people never find.
Here is what we built live:
- A skill structure that gives Claude a permanent role. It fires automatically on trigger phrases - no prompting needed. Claude already knows what to do before you say a word.
- The Superpowers plugin - same coding task done twice. One with a basic prompt. One with Superpowers forcing a planning phase, test-first approach, and two-stage security review. The Superpowers version caught a security vulnerability before a single line shipped. The plain version did not.
- 90% of the work with AI is in the planning phase. The AI handles the rest. Most people skip the planning and wonder why Claude keeps drifting.
