START HERE 🌿 You want to stay, but you’re not sure how
You recently learned about the affair. You want this marriage to work, but you may not know what you can promise or what you need before you can fully commit. You can begin here without pretending you feel certain. We’re Brian and Emily, the Affair Recovery Coaches. This community and the course are free. START WITH YOUR FIRST STEPS TOWARD STAYING Open the Classroom and begin with lesson 00. Download the 18-page workbook or use a private notebook. https://www.skool.com/after-the-affair-1067/classroom/7dcc8168 The eight short written lessons help you: • Put words to what staying means to you today. • Sort what you know from what you still need to ask. • Use selected FERNS prompts to name your needs. • Choose one request, one limit, and a manageable next step. Wanting to try does not mean you have to forgive now, resume intimacy, or promise you will never reconsider. His honesty and accountability remain his responsibility. Read “How we care for this space” before posting. Introductions are optional, and your worksheets can stay private. https://www.skool.com/after-the-affair-1067/how-we-care-for-this-space If you’d like individual guidance, see our pinned “Book a call with Brian” post. You can use the full free course without booking coaching. Start with the part you can manage today. — Brian & Emily

A gentle hello — no story required
If you recently found out and want your marriage to work, you do not have to explain everything to belong here. If you’d like to say hello, choose one: • A first name or nickname you are comfortable using. • What would help you most today: space to think, clearer questions, words for your needs, or support. • One small thing you want to make room for today. For example: “You can call me M. I want to give my marriage a chance, but I’m having trouble knowing what to ask for. I’m starting with the workbook.” A simple hello is enough. Reading quietly is welcome too. When replying, listen without pushing someone to forgive, commit, or make a decision. Ask before offering advice. Let each person choose how much to share.

🌿 How we care for this space
You deserve room to learn without pressure to explain, defend, or decide everything today. These guidelines help us make that room for one another. 1. Share only what feels right. Reading quietly counts as participating. You never need to share affair details, introduce yourself, or post your worksheets. 2. Protect everyone’s privacy. Do not share screenshots, names, identifying details, or another member’s story outside this group. Avoid posting private messages or information about partners, children, or other people. A private group cannot guarantee confidentiality, so choose what you share carefully. 3. Respect each person’s choices. No shaming someone for staying, leaving, feeling uncertain, or changing her mind. Speak from your own experience. Ask before offering advice. Avoid diagnoses, blame, or instructions about what someone “must” do. 4. Keep support welcome. No unsolicited coaching pitches, promotions, or private messages. Ask permission in the group before contacting another member directly. 5. Keep the purpose clear. This is a space for relationship education and peer conversation. It does not provide therapy, crisis response, or guaranteed personal coaching. Do not rely on a post here for urgent help. If something concerns you, use the post’s report option or contact an admin. You do not need to handle it publicly. Thank you for helping make this a thoughtful place to learn.
