# Welcome. This is the place to introduce yourself when you feel ready. You do not need to share your full story. You do not need perfect words. You do not need to be positive. You do not need to explain everything. You can write a long post, a short post, or simply: Hi, I am here. I am not ready to share much yet. That is enough. Start with where you are now After stroke, people arrive here at very different stages. You may be: - still in hospital, - in rehabilitation, - recently home, - on sick leave, - waiting for tests or answers, - waiting for a procedure, - trying to return to work, - dealing with fatigue, - rebuilding movement, - supporting a partner or family member, - months or years after stroke, - or simply trying to understand what life looks like now. Wherever you are, you are welcome here. You can use this simple format 1. I am here as:Stroke survivor / partner / family member / caregiver / friend / other. 2. My stroke or my family member’s stroke happened:You can write the date, month, year, or simply “recently.” 3. Right now I am in this stage:Hospital / rehab / home / sick leave / back to work / long-term recovery / waiting for answers / supporting someone. 4. My biggest challenge right now is:Fatigue, walking, speech, thinking, mood, anxiety, fear, sleep, family, work, money, driving, medication, identity, or something else. 5. One thing I want to rebuild is:Confidence, movement, work, family rhythm, independence, health, purpose, social life, or something personal to you. 6. One small win I already had is:Even if it feels tiny. 7. One thing I hope to find here is:Support, information, people ahead of me, practical tools, motivation, honest conversations, or simply a place where people understand.
