Welcome
Welcome to my Skool. Please feel free to share your stories with neurodiversity or a medical diagnosis for either yourself or a loved one. I am a firm believer in mental health help after a medical diagnosis such as ABI/TBI, MS MD FIBRO LOSS OF LIMB OR FUNCTION. I want this to be a safe place for everyone. So come on it and hope you can find some of this useful. I would like this to be as much community led as possible but treat each person as an individual.

hey everyone and thank you for joining. I am advocating that there be grief counselling as an addition to the recovery process for people with ABI/TBI and other chronic illnesses. It’s really lacking so please help me spread awareness and keep watching for some useful tips and ways that can help you and everyone.

Introduction
Hello my name is Corey. I am a social service worker who is specializing in neurodiversity coaching and grief counselling. So you might wonder why grief counselling. I think that there is a serious lack of compassion in this area where after a diagnosis of a life altering condition a person still goes through grief. The denial that their life changed, the anger that they can’t do what they once did. Not only for them but it takes a toll on family dynamics as well. I believe that if this is offered it is a huge step in the healing process which includes the family along with that process
