We are friends who went through both similar and very different journeys in caregiving. We're now winding down our executorships (which is its own Era of stress,) and coming together to create resources we would've killed for along the way.
Caregiving can really suck. It's really hard to get help or support or to step out of the day-to-day tasks when you're just trying to get through it. The eldercare system is broken. Not the people in it, mostly-- the thing itself. So your struggles are NOT you being bad at this... you just might need a place to come and vent or get info or just read what others are going through.
We aren't lawyers or doctors or experts in anything. We're just a few chapters ahead of you on this, and have learned a lot the (very) hard way.
We believe in snacks or anything that brings you joy in these ridiculously hard times.
