What are people ACTUALLY paying for?? 👀
After listening to today's Skool Morning Show about courses... I started wondering: what are people ACTUALLY paying for?
What really gets them to join + stay in a community?
Is the course the lead magnet? Do they join for the live calls? Is it simply access to you?
Something else entirely?
How do you decide what content to make free (like YouTube videos, IG posts, etc.) and what to make paid? And where is the overlap good or bad?
Example of overlap: A course module inside a paid Skool community that includes a public-facing YouTube video as part of the 'course'. There may be a worksheet and written module text + images that are paid-only, but the video itself is accessible elsewhere to anyone.
If covering a specific topic, do y'all make two separate videos? One for the public & one for your paid community? Or maybe it's the same video, but a slightly different version?
Would really love to hear thoughts & personal experiences on this. 👀
