September 18th, 1996.. Roger Clemens ties his own Major League record with 20 strikeouts in a single game.
Rogers Played 24 seasons in the MLB for four teams and was one of the most dominant pitchers in MLB history, tallying 354 wins, a 3.12 ERA, and 4,672 strikeouts, the third-most all time. Clemens also won seven Cy Young Awards during his career, the most of any pitcher in MLB history.
