WHY PEOPLE RESPOND:
The first line of your post decides everything. If it’s predictable, they scroll. If it’s emotional or polarizing, they stop.
HOW TO APPLY:
- Write your post, then rewrite the first line five different ways.
- Lead with curiosity, contrast, or emotion.
- Test which style gets the most comments.
EXAMPLES:
A. “I almost deleted this post…”
B. “This will offend some marketers — and that’s okay.”
C. “If I could start over, I’d ignore 90% of what gurus teach.”
