Element Dance Arts Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented Competitive Acro Instructor to join our faculty for the upcoming season.
We are looking for a passionate educator who thrives in a collaborative environment, values feedback and growth, and is excited to challenge and inspire dancers ages 8+ at a competitive level.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The ideal candidate is confident teaching and spotting advanced acro skills while creating a positive, motivating, and safe learning environment. This instructor will work with competitive dancers who are committed, driven, and eager to grow both technically and artistically.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach competitive acro classes for dancers ages 8+
- Safely spot and progress high-level acro and tumbling skills
- Create structured, engaging, and challenging lesson plans
- Provide constructive feedback that supports dancer growth and confidence
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members and leadership
- Foster a positive team culture within the studio
- Encourage strong work ethic, resilience, and performance quality in dancers
- Support choreography cleaning, technique development, and competition preparation as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong acro/tumbling training and teaching background
- Comfortable spotting advanced acro skills safely and confidently
- Experience teaching competitive dancers preferred
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
- Passion for mentoring and inspiring young dancers
