COMPETITIVE ACRO INSTRUCTOR – ELEMENT DANCE ARTS

Element Dance Arts Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented Competitive Acro Instructor to join our faculty for the upcoming season.

We are looking for a passionate educator who thrives in a collaborative environment, values feedback and growth, and is excited to challenge and inspire dancers ages 8+ at a competitive level.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The ideal candidate is confident teaching and spotting advanced acro skills while creating a positive, motivating, and safe learning environment. This instructor will work with competitive dancers who are committed, driven, and eager to grow both technically and artistically.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach competitive acro classes for dancers ages 8+
Safely spot and progress high-level acro and tumbling skills
Create structured, engaging, and challenging lesson plans
Provide constructive feedback that supports dancer growth and confidence
Collaborate with fellow faculty members and leadership
Foster a positive team culture within the studio
Encourage strong work ethic, resilience, and performance quality in dancers
Support choreography cleaning, technique development, and competition preparation as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong acro/tumbling training and teaching background
Comfortable spotting advanced acro skills safely and confidently
Experience teaching competitive dancers preferred
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
Passion for mentoring and inspiring young dancers
