Hello - dog lovers
I have an issue currently with my physical ability to take my 11 month old dog(90+lbs)out for hikes. He is a naturally strong puller (parents are used in CaniCross) im headed to Vancouver next week to have my hip and shoulder looked at. Both injuries are debilitating therefore making it tough to even do trail walks. I’m reaching out to any experienced owners with balanced dogs (Harry) is intact & very social. He has a beautiful playful temperament. I am mindful that he runs trails either vigor but has been extremely great checking in - I find using a leash with him very difficult as he constantly pulls ( as what he believes his work- To Pull)
My rotator cuff, can not handle much more correcting and I feel like I’m letting him down not going off the property now.
I need my hip replaced sooner than later. I’m wondering if there’s anyone interested ( possibly with fenced acreage) that they could have Harry “play “ with their dog
Or take him to an open play field or trail
I think an introduction is the first goal
And I am very open to host dogs in my yard to begin the introductions ( I live in Wildwood) thank you for any considerations !
