Who Governs Your Life?
There came a day when I stopped negotiating with my own excuses.
Not because life became easier.
It didn’t.
Not because every obstacle disappeared.
They didn’t.
The change happened when I realized something that no one could do for me.
If I did not govern my own mind,
someone or something else always would.
☑️Fear would.
☑️The opinions of others would.
☑️The limitations people placed on disability would.
☑️The disappointments of yesterday would.
I have lived long enough to know that life does
not hand us confidence, purpose, or freedom.
We build them.
✅Decision by decision.
✅Thought by thought.
✅Day by day.
I cannot control every circumstance that enters my life.
Very few of us can.
But I can decide whether those circumstances will govern me.
That decision belongs to me.
Every morning.
Every challenge.
Every new beginning.
That is why I continue learning.
That is why I continue creating.
That is why I continue building.
Not because it is easy.
Because I refuse to surrender the government of my life to fear.
Perhaps that is the decision waiting for you today.
Not to become someone else.
But to finally become the person fear has been trying to keep hidden.
❤️Create. Design. Build with intention.
Live with purpose.
